• Monday through Friday
• 40 Hours Per Week
• 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Call & Holiday Rotation Required

Overview

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties. This 102-bed community hospital offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including the Siteman Cancer Center, Breast Health and Women’s Center, Cardiology Center, Neurosurgery Center, and Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

The hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Level II stroke certification. It also houses specialty offices and outpatient services such as physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

At Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, patient and family interests guide all decisions. The Imaging Services department provides services including General, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Digital Mammography, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and PET/CT scans.

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment of disorders.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for procedures, providing instructions with high customer service and professionalism.
• Independently performs radiographic imaging examinations, including on-call and portable exams, and other departmental tasks.

Education

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalent

Experience

• No experience required

Supervisor Experience

• No experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
• Radiology Technologist - Registered

Preferred Requirements

• Less than 2 years
