• Monday through Friday
• 40 Hours Per Week
• 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Call & Holiday Rotation Required

Overview

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the healthcare needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including the Siteman Cancer Center, Breast Health and Women’s Center, Cardiology Center, Neurosurgery Center, and Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

The hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Level II stroke certification. It also hosts various specialty offices and outpatient services like physical therapy, sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

At Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, every decision is made in the best interest of patients and families. The Imaging Services department offers services such as General, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Digital Mammography, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and PET/CT scans.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment of disorders.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, inform patients about procedures with high customer service and professionalism.
2. Perform radiographic imaging examinations independently, including on-call situations, portable exams, and other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Associate degree or equivalent from Trade School

Experience

• No experience required

Supervisor Experience

• No experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
• Radiology Technologist - Registered

Preferred Requirements

Experience

• Less than 2 years

Licenses & Certifications

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
