Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations using diagnostic radiography equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist. The staff member must demonstrate the ability to provide patient-centered care, including age-appropriate assessment and data interpretation.

This full-time evening shift position offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates, excellent benefits starting day one, and

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Licensure: Connecticut State Licensure.
• Certification: Registered by the ARRT; Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Generate radiographic examinations using diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on patient growth and development.

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.

What you will do

• The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.
