Job summary

Nephrology Associates of Northern Illinois & Indiana is seeking a Radiologic Technologist – Interventional / Vascular Access for our outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center in Fort Wayne, IN. The role centers on fluoroscopic imaging and vascular procedures to support dialysis patients and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

You will work a weekday schedule with no weekends, enjoy a competitive hourly rate, and have opportunities to specialize in interventional imaging while upholding radiation

Qualifications

  • Active RT license in your state & ARRT certification (or equivalent).
  • 1+ year experience operating C-arm and participating in interventional radiology or vascular suites preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS a plus or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fluoroscopic imaging and radiographic procedures under physician order, using C‑arm and other imaging modalities.
  • Set up procedural trays, maintain sterile field and imaging room turnover.
  • Uphold strict radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique protocols.
  • Document imaging data, maintain quality control logs, and interface with EMR systems.
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot standard issues, and coordinate with service vendors.
  • Support team readiness, cross-train on relevant procedures, and respond to emergent imaging needs.
