Job summary

Seattle Children's seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with fixed and portable equipment, adjusting and controlling complex systems to image the targeted area accurately while maintaining patient safety and exam quality. The role requires completing an approved Radiology Technology program, ARRT-R registration, WA-RT-CERT, and BLS.

Pediatric experience is preferred. The work supports training Radiology students within a Magnet-designated, nationally recognized

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a Joint Review Committee or equivalent approved program in Radiology Technology.
  • Current ARRT-R registration.
  • Current Washington State Radiology Technologist certification (WA-RT-CERT).
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Job description

Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using fixed and portable equipment. Adjust and control complex diagnostic equipment to optimally image and present the area(s) of interest. Maintain general condition and readiness of the work area. Assist in training of Radiology students.

Required Education And Experience
  • Graduation from a Joint Review Committee or equivalent approved program in Radiology Technology.
Required Credentials
  • Current ARRT-R registration.
  • Current Washington State Radiology Technologist certification (WA-RT-CERT).
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred
  • Pediatric experience in Radiology.
  • Urinary bladder catheterization competency.
Compensation Range

$45.83 - $74.17 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
