FOX VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS seeks a Radiology Technologist for Elgin and surrounding Illinois locations. In a fast-paced orthopedic clinic, you will obtain quality diagnostic X-rays according to physician orders while providing friendly patient interactions.

This part-time role (20 hours/week) includes evenings and Saturdays; requires AMA-approved radiologic technology training, ARRT (R) and IL radiographer licensure, and BLS. 1+ year clinic imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AMA approved radiologic technology program is required.
• ARRT (R) licensure is required; IL state radiographer license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of clinic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality X-rays in an orthopedic clinic setting.

This person is responsible for friendly and positive interactions with our patients, while obtaining quality diagnostic x-rays in accordance with our physician's orders. Locations: Elgin, Algonquin, Barrington, & Geneva, Illinois (must be willing to travel to multiple site locations)Status: Part-Time (20 Hours/Week)Days/Hours: Varying days, including evenings and rotating Saturdays.Pay Rate: $29.25 - $35.50/Hour (Minimum to Mid-Point, based on experience). Education: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved radiologic technology school -required. License/Certification* ARRT (R) -required.* Illinois State Medical Radiographer license -required.* Basic Life Support (BLS) -required. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment TB and drug testing.
