Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm fluoroscopy and portable X-ray equipment in pre-op, OR, and recovery areas.
• Perform imaging for vascular access and orthopedic procedures.
• Ensure accurate positioning, proper radiation safety, and image quality during procedures.
• Maintain all radiology logs and quality assurance records.
• Scrub in for cases requiring technologist assistance.
• Assist the surgeon during procedures with imaging-related instruments.
• Collaborate with sterile processing and OR teams.

Radiology Technologist

Pay: $42 per hour

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in a surgical or procedural setting preferred
• Experience in vascular access, orthopedics, spine, or pain management cases is highly desirable
• Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
• State Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification required
• Proficient in fluoroscopy and surgical imaging techniques
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in high‑stakes surgical environments

Duties

• Operate C‑arm fluoroscopy and portable X‑ray equipment in pre‑op, OR, and recovery areas
• Perform imaging for procedures such as but not limited to vascular access, orthopedic interventions, spinal injections, and pain management cases
• Ensure accurate positioning, proper radiation safety, and image quality during procedures
• Maintain all radiology logs, quality assurance records, and image storage
• Scrub in for cases requiring technologist assistance, including instrument passing, retraction, and sterile field setup
• Assist the surgeon during procedures by handling imaging‑related surgical instruments and supplies
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure the integrity of the surgical field when scrubbed in
• Collaborate with sterile processing and OR teams to ensure proper equipment setup and turnover
