Radiology Technologist

Pay: $42 per hour
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in a surgical or procedural setting preferred
- Experience in vascular access, orthopedics, spine, or pain management cases is highly desirable
- Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
- State Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS certification required
- Proficient in fluoroscopy and surgical imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in high‑stakes surgical environments
Duties
- Operate C‑arm fluoroscopy and portable X‑ray equipment in pre‑op, OR, and recovery areas
- Perform imaging for procedures such as but not limited to vascular access, orthopedic interventions, spinal injections, and pain management cases
- Ensure accurate positioning, proper radiation safety, and image quality during procedures
- Maintain all radiology logs, quality assurance records, and image storage
- Scrub in for cases requiring technologist assistance, including instrument passing, retraction, and sterile field setup
- Assist the surgeon during procedures by handling imaging‑related surgical instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure the integrity of the surgical field when scrubbed in
- Collaborate with sterile processing and OR teams to ensure proper equipment setup and turnover
