Job summary

Sherman Oaks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for per diem work in California. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiographic procedures and ensuring imaging needs are met with proficiency.

Candidates must hold CDPH CRT, ARRT-R, and BCLS, with fluoroscopy and venipuncture credentials in place or planned within required timeframes. Experience with PACS and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current CRT issued by CDPH.
• Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Pay Transparency

Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $31.00 to $47.72. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
