Job summary

Clinch Valley Health in Richlands, VA, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Services team. You will perform imaging procedures, review orders, educate patients, and uphold safety and quality standards across flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications include a two-year certificate or associate degree and ARRT certification, along with BLS. We offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards and performs quality control checks.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

Applicants must have two year certificate or associates degreesuccessfully passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Hourly range $25.89- $34.96
