Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care across diverse populations in a hospital setting.

You will develop and execute nursing plans of care with patients and designated care partners, addressing physical, psychological, and social needs. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, inter-professional collaboration, and a commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of Patient- and Family-Centered Practice; collaboration with patients and families.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity when caring for diverse patients.
• Strong communication concepts and delegating appropriately within teams.
• Knowledge of patient assessment, care planning, and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Medication administration and prescription knowledge.
• Discharge planning and arranging follow-up care.
• Experience with health information documentation and EHRs.
• BLS & ACLS certification per American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• NJ RN licensure required (state of New Jersey).
