Sherman Oaks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a Radiology Technologist on a per diem basis for its diagnostic imaging team in Sherman Oaks, CA. The role focuses on performing radiographic procedures, ensuring quality imaging, and adhering to HFAP/TJC/local regulations.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT-R, a CDPH CRT license, and fluoroscopy permit, with strong computer skills and knowledge of PACS. BCLS current status is required; minimum one year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Must have Current CRT issued by CDPH2.
• 2. Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire.
• 3. Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
• 4. ARRT-R is required.
• 5. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• 6. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• 7. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• 8. Proficient computer skills

Pay Transparency

Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $34.00 to $34.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
