Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. The incumbent shall comply with all applicable laws and rules, including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and policies. They should seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violations, and assist in investigating all allegations of violations. When called upon, they shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively to implement, monitor, and mitigate risks and corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
• AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Diagnostic Radiology Certification (CRT) required.
• A letter from ARRT stating the employee has passed the exam will be accepted in lieu of Diagnostic certificate for up to 6 months (then Diagnostic Cert required).
• Fluoroscopy and venipuncture certificates are due within 6 months of hire or placement.
• Radiology Technologist (CT RTT); Radiologic Health Fluoroscopy (RG RHF) required within 90 days of hire; BLS (AHA); ARRT certification.

Preferred:

• Radiologic Health Mammography (RG RHM).

Pay Range: $61.84 - $68.43/hour
