Job summary

Saint Mary's Regional Health System in Arkansas is seeking a Radiology Technician to deliver high‑quality imaging and patient care in a fast‑paced clinical setting. You will work across age groups, ensuring safety and comfort while maintaining imaging standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiology program, Arkansas licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS. CT training is a plus; flexible shifts may be needed to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program, required.
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist Licensure, required.
• ARRT registration in Radiology, required.
• BLS certification, required.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, patient safety.
• Flexible shifts may be required; able to handle physical demands.
• X-ray, CT, OR imaging skills preferred; willingness to train in CT.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures following established standards and safety protocols.
• Review patient history, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when needed.
• Accurately document and transmit imaging results.
• Support departmental workflow and participate in ongoing education.
