Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is looking for a Radiologic Technologist in Missoula, MT. A graduate of a radiologic program with a relevant license is required.   • MT Limited Radiologic Technologist or MT Radiologic Technologist License upon hire.
  • ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.

Job description

Schedule: Tuesday 0800-1630, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1330-2200. On-call Tuesdays 1630-0700 and every fourth weekend or so. Typically assigned to work 2 holidays a year.

How You'll Contribute
  • Review patient history and physician’s orders; educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitor patient condition continually and report or respond to changes in status.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters; implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment; troubleshoot, resolve, or report equipment malfunctions.
  • Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality; take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating the procedure; enter, transmit, and report scan results.
What We're Looking For
  • Education: Graduate of Program in Discipline.
  • License: MT Limited Radiologic Technologist or MT Radiologic Technologist License upon hire.
  • Certification: ARRT within 6 months of hire or three months post‑graduation; BCLS within 90 days of hire.
