Compass Surgical Partners in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform intraoperative fluoroscopic imaging with C-arm in our ambulatory surgery setting. This full-time role supports preoperative imaging needs, ensures proper equipment calibration, and maintains detailed procedure documentation.

You will work with surgeons and the perioperative team across three operating rooms to promote patient safety and efficient outcomes. A.A.R.T.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• A.A.R.T. certification and current BLS required.
• Minimum 6 months interventional radiology experience; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures during surgeries per physician guidance.
• Assist in preoperative imaging assessment and setup.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance.

Horizon Surgery Center Beaches, located on the campus of Baptist Medical Center, our physician-led ambulatory surgery center is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care.

The facility features three active operating rooms specializing in Orthopedic Hand, General Surgery, and Neuro-Spine procedures.

Role Summary

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality intraoperative fluoroscopic imaging using C-arm technology in support of outpatient surgical procedures. This team-oriented role also supports preoperative assessments, ensures equipment calibration, and maintains detailed documentation of all C-arm procedures, contributing to patient safety and surgical efficiency across 3 operating rooms.

Hours

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (30-40 hours/week).

What You’ll Do

• Perform fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures during surgeries in accordance with physician requirements and safety standards
• Assist in preoperative assessment and setup related to imaging needs.
• Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate logs of all C-arm procedures.
• Monitor and enforce radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the perioperative team to support surgical outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Respond to emergency situations with competence and composure.
• Contribute to the overall patient experience with a focus on respect, safety, and compassion.
• Help turnover rooms, position patients.
• Know how to open sterile field, potential to scrub into cases

What You’ll Bring

• Associate’s Degree in Applied Science (Radiologic Technology) or equivalent.
• A.A.R.T. certification and current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of Interventional radiologic experience (2+ years preferred).
• Experience in a surgical or outpatient setting is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and EMR systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
