Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Radiology Technician to join a busy orthopedic specialty practice in Des Moines. You will perform diagnostic X-rays, work closely with orthopedic surgeons, and help ensure high-quality images while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role offers on-site training, regular daytime shifts 7:30 AM–5:00 PM with occasional Saturday coverage. ARRT certification/licensure eligible in Iowa and 6+ months radiology experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification/licensure eligible to practice in Iowa.
• Minimum 6 months Radiology Technician experience.
• Strong attention to detail to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with physicians and clinical staff.
• Orthopedic/sports imaging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays and imaging of shoulders, knees, hips, and other orthopedic areas.
• Coordinate with orthopedic surgeons and staff to obtain high-quality images.
• Support physicians in evaluation and treatment of sports injuries and acute conditions.
• Provide compassionate care and help patients feel comfortable during imaging.
• Follow radiation safety and imaging protocols as trained.
• Collaborate with team in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

Are you a Radiology Technician looking for an opportunity to work closely with orthopedic physicians and make a direct impact on patient care? We’re hiring an experienced Rad Tech to join a busy orthopedic specialty practice in Des Moines!

This is a great opportunity to build your orthopedic imaging experience while working alongside a collaborative medical team and receiving on-site training.

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostic X-rays and imaging of various areas of the body, including shoulders, knees, hips, and other orthopedic injuries
• Work closely with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Support physicians in the evaluation and treatment of sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and acute injuries
• Provide compassionate, professional care while ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout the imaging process
• Follow established radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced specialty setting
• Participate in ongoing training and development provided on site
• 8-hour shifts
• Regular schedule falls between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• Urgent Clinic coverage may be scheduled 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• May work approximately one Saturday every 4–6 weeks
• Saturday Urgent Clinic: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• $100 bonus for working a Saturday
• $50 additional compensation if placed on Saturday call from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

What We’re Looking For

• ARRT certification/license eligible to practice in Iowa
• At least 6 months of Radiology Technician experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to obtaining quality diagnostic images
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively alongside physicians and clinical staff
• Orthopedic, sports medicine, urgent care, or outpatient imaging experience is a plus
