Job summary

DMOS Orthopaedic Centers is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join their Des Moines office. The role includes obtaining x-ray images, ensuring quality imaging, and supporting a team to maintain a comfortable experience for patients.

This position offers no call or weekend coverage unless supporting the urgent injury clinic. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, and PTO of up to 22 days per year for hourly employees.

Qualifications

• Permit to practice in Iowa as a Radiology Technologist and an active ARRT certification.
• Excellent patient communication skills with calm reassurance and active listening.
• Independent worker capable of staying focused and knowing when to seek assistance.

Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons, P.C. is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Des Moines office. Responsibilities include obtaining x-ray images, ensuring appropriate imaging, and supporting a team to provide a comfortable patient experience. The role does not include call or weekend coverage, unless for the optional urgent injury clinic.

What You Can Expect

• Stand on your feet most of the day greeting and preparing patients for x-ray exams before operating the x-ray machine to capture high-quality images.
• Review images and make any necessary adjustments before sending them to the physician.
• Collaborate with a close‑knit team of professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
