Job summary

MultiCare Health System invites Radiology Technologist Trainee candidates to join our Imaging Services team in a per diem capacity. You will perform general radiography imaging studies, collaborate with experienced staff, and support compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.

Qualified applicants are near graduation, hold a WA X-Ray Technician license, and are pursuing ARRT registry with potential within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Eligible to take ARRT registry or enrolled in an ARRT accredited program. Must obtain ARRT RT(R) within 12 months of hire.
• Washington State license as X-Ray Technician (XT license) required.
• 6-8 months away from graduation; minimum six shifts every six weeks; active BLS; JCERT program in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography imaging studies under supervision of Imaging Services leadership.
• Follow policies to provide patient care and related non-professional services for patient comfort.
• Recognize and report patient needs to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
• Scope of practice limited to exams where proficiency has been demonstrated and within licensure parameters.
