Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic equipment. You will support trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine studies while serving as a clinical resource within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an AA in Imaging, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with the ability to work independently or as part of the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; if registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire.
• X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist within 3 months of hiring.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
• May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
• Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
