Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital invites applicants to join a Radiologic Technologist Trainee Program in a per diem role. Trainees must be near graduation, hold BLS, and be enrolled in or have completed a WA state Radiologic Technician program to obtain ARRT certification within 12 months of hire.

Employed as per diem staff; program costs are not covered by MultiCare. Two letters of recommendation may be required for applicants without prior rotations with MultiCare Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
• Eligible to take ARRT registry or enrolled in an ARRT accredited program. Must obtain ARRT RT(R) within 12 months of hire.
• Washington State license as X-Ray Technician (XT license) required
• BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
• May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies.
• Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
