Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah is hiring a Radiologic Technologist in Training (CT) to join the Imaging team. This role provides structured on-the-job CT training and a clear pathway to a registered CT Technologist role, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible qualified applicants after completing CT training.

You will gain hands-on experience in a high-acuity imaging environment, work with experienced CT professionals, and pursue CT registry

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit complete exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards for patients and staff.
• Complete required documentation with accurate time stamps and image storage.
