Job summary

Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams, work with radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging. The role requires ARRT radiography certification and BLS, with CT certification preferred; 1+ year CT experience is desirable.

This PRN position offers flexible shifts and opportunities to teach students and junior staff. You will operate CT equipment, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate records while providing patient education

Qualifications

  • ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration (RT) required.
  • State licensure where required; BLS for healthcare providers.
  • ARRT Computed Tomography Certification/Registration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains ARRT radiography competency and adheres to department protocols.
  • Ensures correct patient identification and prepares patient for exam.
  • Performs CT exams and reviews images for quality and accuracy.
  • Follows radiation safety guidelines and maintains safe environment.
  • Completes studies within acceptable time frames without compromising care.
  • Instructs students and CT staff on exam protocols and equipment.

Job Description:As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams on patients using specialized equipment. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
