Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist in training to evolve into a CT Technologist at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. The role offers structured CT training, hands-on experience, and advancement within a high-volume imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including assistance with contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust to ensure diagnostic quality images.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
