Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current Utah Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT Radiography certification with CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; assist with contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust for diagnostic-quality images.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report issues.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, size, and condition.
• Support department operations, including inventory and quality initiatives.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Follow policies on documentation, consents, and medical necessity.
• Pursue continued learning and growth in CT; complete time stamps and storage.
