Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT is seeking a Radiologic Technology trainee to perform diagnostic procedures under supervision, with the aim of advancing to Radiology Tech Reg.

This temporary position supports clinical hours with a six-month maximum; successful completion leads to progression and a permanent role. Eligible candidates are enrolled in an approved radiologic technology program and hold BLS.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a JRCERT or AMA approved school of radiologic technology with documented completion of clinical and didactic training as required by state regulations.
• BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic procedures under supervision and adheres to state licensure.
• Maintains competency and follows department protocols for quality and safety.
• Ensures proper patient identification, prepares patients, and reviews images for quality.
• Operates equipment, adheres to infection control, and documents procedures accurately.
• Assists in scheduling and prioritizing studies while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
