Job summary

Spring View Hospital is seeking a radiology student to join the team on a PRN basis. You will perform routine diagnostic imaging, explain procedures to patients, and help maintain high-quality images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

The role requires knowledge of anatomy, imaging technique, radiation safety, and infection control. You will work with a supportive team and gain exposure to radiology equipment and workflow in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Working on completion of a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (verification from school is required).
• Certifications: BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic imaging studies as needed.
• Communicate with patients to explain tests and alleviate anxiety.
• Maintain accurate patient positioning, data entry and filming.
• Ensure patient safety through radiation protection and shielding.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Radiographic Positioning, Technique and Quality Control.
