Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT seeks a temporary Radiologic Technologist trainee to perform diagnostic procedures under supervision. The role is intended as a stepping stone toward the Radiology Tech Reg position, with a six-month limit after clinical hours are completed.

Responsibilities include patient prep, image acquisition and quality review, adherence to safety protocols, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a JRCERT or AMA approved school of radiologic technology with completed clinical and didactic training as required by state regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Practic es within the scope of state licensure.
• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Prepares the patient for the exam and ensures proper identification and order verification.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality and accuracy.
