Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Registered Radiology Tech to perform imaging exams per physician orders and protocols. You must be proficient in radiography, fluoroscopy, and sterile techniques, with responsibility for data entry in PACS/RIS and adherence to ALARA safety principles.

Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification within 90 days are required, with Texas TBMB licensure and BLS training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification within 90 days of hire.
• Texas medical licensure (TMB) and BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography and portable exams proficiently and safely.
• Apply radiation safety principles and ALARA practices.
• Complete data entry in PACS/RIS including histories and dose documentation.
• Perform fluoroscopy procedures and assist with sterile setup as needed.
• Perform radiography in all areas including C-arm operations in surgery.
• Supervise or participate in clinical oversight of student trainees.
