Job summary
HCA Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Tech PRN at Medical City Lewisville. The role involves performing quality diagnostic X-ray procedures, operating radiographic equipment, and processing images with strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines.
The ideal candidate holds ARRT-R Radiography and RT credentials, with either a Bachelor’s or an Associate degree in radiologic technology. No travel and no prior experience required, with a BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of start date.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.
- ARRT-R Radiography certification.
- RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in radiologic technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic procedures accurately and promptly.
- Operate X-ray equipment and process images.
- Prepare equipment, supplies and medications as indicated for the procedure.
- Follow radiation safety protocols for all exams and ensure staff follow precautions.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
- Support department and hospital goals and provide services to all age groups.
