Job summary

UNC Health Nash Urgent Care Middlesex is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and diagnostic studies under the direction of a Radiologist. You will ensure film quality, patient safety, and participate in educational activities for staff and students.

Responsibilities include operating radiology equipment, coordinating with physicians and nursing staff, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives in an onsite day job setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school or program of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Students within an ARRT-recognized program may apply; must pass the registry within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces radiographic studies under the clinical direction of a Radiologist.
• Maintains film quality, patient care, safety, sterile technique.
• Operates radiology and fluoroscopic equipment to make diagnostic X-ray films.
• Provides education for staff and students; participates in QA/QI activities.
• Performs clerical and miscellaneous responsibilities in support of operations.
