Beebe Healthcare in Delaware is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures per established standards. You will select the best technique and positioning to ensure high-quality images and patient safety.

You may assist in teaching radiography students and must communicate clearly with patients to obtain consent and reduce anxiety. The role requires basic computer skills, on-call/shift/weekend availability, and a DE license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures following professional standards and department procedures.
• Utilizes appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal examinations.
• Assists in teaching radiography students as required.
• Communicates with patients to obtain history and consent.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions to ease anxiety.
• Recognizes and responds to emergent problems to protect patient safety.
• Ensures correct patient and file identification and proper tracking.
• Follows department protocols and documentation in RIS.
