Job summary

Tenet Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Dearborn area is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs for sports medicine and orthopedic surgeons. You will work under physician direction in a clinic setting and travel around the metro-Detroit area as needed.

Required: graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with ARRT or registry eligible, BLS, and state license if required. Prior 1–3 years preferred; DR equipment experience essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• ARRT certification required; BLS and state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Assesses patients and assists physicians in radiography procedures.

Job Summary

This is a PRN position with DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Dearborn.

Hours will be within Monday-Friday from 8-4:30. Some travel required around metro-Detroit.

Under the direction of the Physician performs Radiographic examinations for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgeons consistent with their perimeters. Clinic work environment.

• Assesses patients, assist the Physician in performing x-ray procedures, using state of the art DR equipment and processor.
• Maintains patient and departmental records, supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program

Preferred: Associates degree

Experience

Preferred: 1-3 years

Certifications

Required: ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation; BLS, state license if required
