Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures across departments, applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnoses and participating in on-call coverage.

This role requires completion of a JRCERT approved program, ARRT/CRT certification and CPR, with typically six months of clinical experience; strong communication with patients and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current Arizona Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Radiology Tech (CRT), CPR.
• Minimum six months clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures for patients of all ages with independent judgment.
• Operate radiology equipment including startup, calibration, QC, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assist in evaluating new procedures, reagents and equipment.
• Advocate for patients with adequate assessment and explanation prior to testing.
• Maintain communication with radiologists or cardiologists and coordinate with team.
• Adjust work schedule to meet departmental needs.
