Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform a variety of radiological, CT, and interventional procedures. The role requires ARRT/CRT certification, CPR, and a JRCERT-approved radiologic technology program, with prior radiology experience.

You will work with radiologists, manage imaging protocols, and ensure patient safety. Responsibilities include equipment evaluation, accurate billing, PACS/RIS workflow, and proper documentation prior to contrast administration.

Qualifications

• Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• Prior general radiology experience.
• Currently Certified and Registered in Radiography ARRT, CRT and CPR; Arizona CTCT license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation of new procedures and equipment.
• Perform proper billing/charging with computer systems.
• Operate CT equipment; startup procedures, calibration, QC and troubleshooting.
• Maintain communication with radiologists and staff; ensure proper patient positioning and safety.
• Ensure proper history, consent form and lab values checked before IV contrast; follow PACS and RIS protocols.
• Other related job tasks as assigned.
