Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia is hiring a Radiology Technologist for night shift. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician, adhere to department protocols and radiation safety guidelines, and provide direct patient care to all ages.

The role requires a Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT and BLS certification. Prior hospital radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology degree required.
• ARRT certification (Radiography) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures per department protocols.
• Identify patient according to hospital policy.
• Explain the exam to patient and/or family.
• Set up the procedure room and equipment for the exam.
• QA the exam on PACS before release for interpretation.
• Follow established radiation safety guidelines.
