Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado seeks a Radiology Tech Lead to oversee daily workflow, develop schedules, and mentor staff toward high performance and adherence to our mission.

In this leadership role, you will ensure orientation for new employees, uphold standards of radiology practice, and act as a subject matter expert guiding the unit through quality, regulatory, and patient-care excellence.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience required.
• ARRT registered radiology technologist (R) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day oversight of the X-ray department and ensure adequate supplies.
• Serve as first point of contact for patient issues and provide feedback for staff evaluations.
• Orient new employees and provide continuing education; develop and monitor protocols.
• Provide leadership to ensure patient/physician/employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and quality.
• Monitor exams for quality and completeness to uphold high standards.
• Establish positive rapport with physicians, staff, and other departments to promote collaboration.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiology Tech Lead, you will oversee daily workflow, develop schedules, and act as a subject matter expert for your unit, developing and leading staff to be personally accountable for the organizational mission and success.

Every day you will ensure appropriate orientation for new employees, assure current standards of practice for the unit, and serve as a reliable resource for your team, guiding them towardhigh performance and adherence to core values.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership skills, clinical expertise in radiology, and a proven ability to manage workflow, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to operational and quality standards within the unit.

• Responsible for the day to day oversight of the X-ray department including adequate supplies.
• Serves as first point of contact for patient issues and provides feedback for staff evaluations.
• Orients new employees and provides continuing education opportunities for staff; develops and monitors use of protocols.
• Participates in and provides leadership to the success of the department including patient/physician/employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and stewardship.
• Monitors exams for quality and completeness.
• Establishes a positive, motivating, constructive rapport with physicians, staff, and other departments.

Job Requirements

Required

• One (1) year of related experience.
  
• Current Registered Technologist, Radiology – R.T. (R) (ARRT)
  
• Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  

Preferred

• Associate's Degree, strongly preferred
  
• Bachelor's Degree
  
• Three (3) years of imaging experience, strongly preferred
