Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a radiology technologist-in-training to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures under supervision. You will position patients, set parameters, and assist physicians during imaging while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires enrollment in a radiology technologist program, CPR certification, and completion of mandatory background screenings.

Qualifications

• Presently enrolled, and in good standing, in a radiology technologist program.
• CPR – American Heart Association certification is required.
• Background clearances (Act 34/33/73 FBI) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters for imaging.
• Complete documentation for procedures (regulatory, billing, image distribution).
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
• Assist Radiology Technologist by addressing patient needs and documenting clinical info.
• Maintain supplies for efficient department operations.
• Assist in preparation of contrast media and medications within scope.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
