Job summary

Methodist Hospitals is seeking a Nuclear Radiology Technologist to perform radiologic procedures and ensure patient safety. The role requires clear communication, credentialed licensure in Indiana, and collaboration with the radiology team.

You will process patients through RIS and PACS, maintain sterile technique, and assist during fluoroscopy under a radiologist's supervision. A minimum of 2 years imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiology degree required.
• Active IN Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT Radiography Registration required.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years imaging experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures with x-ray equipment as requested by a physician.
• Introduce yourself to patient and obtain necessary exam history and safety information.
• Explain delays and adjust scheduling as needed.
• Maintain clean work areas and restock supplies; report shortages.
• Assist radiologist during fluoroscopy and special procedures.
• Learn to use PACS and hospital RIS for patient processing.
