Our radiologists and imaging specialists are board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, and our team includes American College of Radiology certified technologists and a customer-service-oriented staff. As a Radiological Technologist II on the X-Ray team, your responsibilities include producing diagnostic images using various radiographic equipment, including fixed radiographic units, O & C-Arms, and fluoroscopy. You will perform procedures on neonates, children, adults, and geriatric patients.

Essential Duties:

• Patient education prior to examinations
• Preparation of supplies and equipment setup
• Performing sterile technique procedures
• Following quality assurance procedures
• Maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
• Assisting radiologists as needed

This position involves rotating across various radiology locations.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Training Program required

License/Certification:

• Current CRT, CRT-Fluoro, ARRT, and BLS certifications required

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of radiology tech experience required
• Applicants with less than 2 years may be considered for Radiology Tech I
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, decision-making, and multi-tasking skills required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnoses required
• Flexibility and ability to perform under stress required
• Ability to recognize contraindications for exams required
• Knowledge of clinical billing preferred

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting/moving between 20-50 pounds depending on assignment
• Extended standing with frequent squatting, twisting, bending, kneeling, and reaching
