Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• ARRT certification and current Louisiana LSRT license.
• New graduates eligible for ARRT registry; LSRT license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic examinations and perform imaging procedures.
• Operate diagnostic radiology equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review physician orders and obtain patient history as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation.
• Maintain infection control and PPE, and monitor radiation safety.
