Job summary

SGMC Health Careers is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Main Campus Radiology department. This full-time role follows a 7-on/7-off schedule with day shifts (7:00 am–3:30 pm on weekdays, weekends rotated).

Responsibilities include performing radiographic exams, assisting radiologists, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient care and technical quality across procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography or registry eligibility.
• New graduates have up to 1 year to obtain ARRT registration.
• Strong ability to build effective relationships with staff and patients.
• Clear communication with a diverse patient population.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.
• Ability to document clinical information accurately.
• Knowledge of SGMC Health policies and procedures.
• Strong radiographic clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiographic exams and assist radiologist in fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operate x-ray equipment, develop films, and prepare radiographic room and supplies.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities and ensure safety protocols.
