The role requires ARRT certification/licensure in AZ and strong communication skills; you will educate patients, maintain records, and support safe operations in a busy imaging department with a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• State licensure in AZ prior to hire.
• ARRT-CT certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Typically two years of clinical radiology experience.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following orders and policies; uses independent judgment.
• Educates patients and families regarding procedures and treatments.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation.
• Maintains safety and confidentiality in the radiology practice.
• Monitors equipment quality and performs QC measurements.
• Ensures efficient workflow and inventory management.
