Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is seeking a Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic X-rays, ensure radiation safety, triage patients, and support the radiology team in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You will work with a dedicated team, have opportunities for growth in CT and MRI through fully funded training, and join a respected hospital serving Columbia County and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be ARRT accredited.
• Must be licensed by the state of Florida.
• Two years of clinical experience in related field preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate X-Rays as ordered by the Provider while following ALARA radiation safety.
• Prepare and transmit images to the Radiologist for over-read.
• Room patients and record vital signs and history.
• Assist patients and providers with walking, transfers, and exam prep.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of supplies; transport patients as needed.
