Job summary

SHELBY COUNTY HEALTH CARE CORPORATION is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and help maintain patient safety and image quality.

The role requires ARRT certification, CPR on hire, and AMA Radiology Technology program graduate; you will work in a high-volume, patient-centered environment and participate in quality improvement. This on-site role includes flexible shifts and adherence to HIPAA and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registration required or obtained within 3 attempts or 24 months of employment.
• CPR certification upon hire is required.
• Experience in patient care through completion of a Radiology Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and physician requests prior to radiographic procedures.
• Select and prepare equipment, adjust settings for patient size and tissue density.
• Perform radiology procedures ordered by physicians while ensuring safety and quality.
• Operate RIS/PACS and document procedures and charges.
• Assist in emergencies and maintain infection control and confidentiality.
