Job summary

Longmont United Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technician to provide high-quality patient care in the medical imaging department. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient comfort, and follow radiation safety protocols to produce diagnostic images.

You will also assist students and staff, maintain current practice standards, and support workflow to optimize use of resources. The role requires strong radiology skills, attention to radiation safety, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; ARRT registration preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic imaging; FEMA/trauma imaging knowledge a plus.
• Basic life support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures with ALARA safety.
• Produces high-quality images accurately and promptly.
• Prepares patients and positions them for exams.
• Monitors patients and equipment during procedures.
• Facilitates patient flow, scheduling, and efficient use of resources.
• Inputs charges and completes imaging paperwork.
