Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging at a 16-bed facility in Fort Worth, TX. This PRN role supports physicians, nurses, and staff, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate documentation.

Requirements include AMA-approved radiology program graduation, ARRT radiography certification, and BLS. CT certification is preferred, with market-specific requirements. Excellent teamwork and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required
• Associate’s degree in Radiology, preferred
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
• Registered Technologist with ARRT in radiography required
• CT certification required or preferred depending on market
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred
• 1+ years of CT experience, preferred
• Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment and PACS
• Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging services including X-ray and CT, with supervision as needed
• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment (X-ray, CT, CR reader, PACS)
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify physician on duty of results
• Maintain documentation and records in paper and electronic formats
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA regulations
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment
• Travel to facility locations as required
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned
