Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a 16-bed small-format hospital in Burleson, TX. The role covers CT and X-ray imaging at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.

You will operate imaging equipment, assist physicians and nurses, and ensure results are properly documented and communicated. Travel to all facility locations as required, with adherence to COLA/CLIA guidelines and ongoing quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology is required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology preferred.
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the practicing state.
• Registered Technologist with ARRT in radiography is required.
• ARRT CT certification is preferred; CT certification within 12 months of hire is expected for certain markets.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify on-duty physician of results.
• Maintain documentation and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
