Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Second year Radiologic Technology student or completed program awaiting licensure (up to 6 months).
• BLS Certification required (will obtain during orientation if needed).

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging exams and perform clerical duties.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and care providers.
• Adhere to section and organizational protocols and QA/regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate work assignments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Set up imaging room according to examination and safety precautions.
• Provide clear explanations of studies to patients and assist with billing procedures.
• Rotate within departments for coverage.
