AdventHealth Roeland Park Imaging Center is seeking a Radiology Tech Aide to support imaging operations by assisting technologists and radiologists with patient preparation and care. This full-time daytime role contributes to safe, efficient imaging services in a fast-paced clinic.

You will help position patients, prep rooms, and maintain cleanliness and supplies, while communicating with teams to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak conversational English.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Knowledge of basic healthcare terminology and patient care concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with preparation for imaging exams and verify identity under supervision.
• Position patients and move equipment during procedures as directed.
• Clean and restock imaging rooms between patients and maintain infection control.
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies and equipment; alert staff when items are low.
• Answer phones, relay messages and support communication among staff to ensure workflow.

Job Description:

AdventHealth Roeland Park Imaging Center Full-Time Days, Radiology Tech Aide Job Description: Responsible for supporting diagnostic imaging operations by assisting technologists and radiologists in the preparation and care of patients undergoing imaging procedures. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and supporting high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Work Hours/Shifts:

Full-Time Days Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Job Functions:

Assists patients with preparation for imaging exams, including changing into appropriate attire and verifying identification under supervision. Supports technologists during procedures by positioning patients, moving equipment, or preparing exam rooms as directed. Cleans and restocks imaging rooms between patients, ensuring cleanliness, infection control compliance, and readiness for next exam. Maintains adequate inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment, alerting appropriate staff when items are low. Answers phones, relays messages, and assists with communication between technologists, nursing, and other departments to support efficient workflow.

Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ experience in hospital setting in radiology [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
