AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures with patient care and safety at the forefront. You will operate radiographic equipment, support patient movement, and maintain sterile, organized exam rooms.

The role requires appropriate licensure, CPR/BLS, and experience with imaging modalities. This on-site position offers a day shift, competitive pay, and benefits across a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Qualified radiology technologist with licensure in Kansas or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification current and maintained.
• Experience with radiographic procedures and infection control.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and monitor patient condition.
• Move and prepare patients, ensure rooms are clean, stocked and safe.
• Report inventory needs and maintain infection control practices.

Job Description

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds. Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely. Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques. Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.

Pay Range: $21.82 - $40.59
